Wisconsin State Director
Melva and her husband Ervin (Skip) are the founding pastors of World Outreach & Bible Training Center located in Glendale, Wisconsin.
Melva oversees the prayer ministry in their local church. She is the Director for the State of Wisconsin for Daughters for Zion (DFZ), a prayer ministry under the umbrella of Christians United for Israel (CUFI). Under the direction of the national Director, Mrs. Lynne Hammond, Melva and those within the State of Wisconsin stand ready to mobilize in prayer for any area touching the Nation of Israel, the land and the people.
With a global vision to impact lives for the Kingdom of God, Melva founded Melva Henderson Ministries and it has become the vehicle which affords her the privilege of serving others; traveling nationally and internationally as humanitarian, minister, and an itinerate teacher. Melva is the founder of several charitable outreaches including: The Milwaukee Give; an annual outreach which feeds and clothes thousands in order to help battle hunger and poverty for those within the inner city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Little Feet of Mexico, an international outreach launched in 2008 with a mission to provide new and gently used shoes and clothes to children in remote villages of Mexico.
Melva is the founder of The School of Ministerial Excellence. Established for the purpose of training church leaders and launching them into the five-fold ministry, The School of Ministerial Excellence has trained, graduated and sent nearly 2000 individuals into either full or part time ministry. She is also the host of Discipling the Nations broadcast a radio ministry heard each weekday nationally and globally.
Melva is touching lives through various social network and media streams such as Facebook and Twitter. She is the author of the daily devotional Fresh Baked Manna which has generated popularity with nearly 20,000 daily readers in the U.S., Pakistan, Africa, Mexico, Australia and many other places around the globe.
Melva is a 1992 graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center, a wife, mother of 5, and grandmother of 2.
